BOARD MEETING –
I. Opening Day 4/5/08
We’re ready to roll.
II. Treasurer & Internal Auditor Updates
Ed Rowen estimates league balance at 3/31/08 is $54,000.
Ed Lazar suggested an audit process for our Shacks. Our plan is to pilot the
program at Pickering Shack. Paul Jacob will discuss with Danielle Teta.
III. Parade & Bat-a-thon Day 5/10/08
Tom Rogers has lined up the parade details. Matt Schram will be contacting people to fill volunteer positions for Bat-a-thon; our fundraising target is $100 per player.
As in past years, CRNLL will purchase group tickets at Waterfront Park in Trenton,
NJ for a Trenton Thunder game. This year’s date is Saturday, June 21 vs. Binghamton
Mets at 7:05 pm. Teams that finish first in batting points and sponsor points
will receive free tickets. We will have many tickets available for the CRNLL
community so please mark your calendars! Randy Coppola will manage the ticket
sales.
IV. Fields
Chandler, Pickering and Helen Randle Fields are shaping up very nicely.
George Whitney will prep Chandler (back) for the new shed scheduled for 4/12
delivery.
Phil Tully & Tom Rogers will manage the “arborvitaes project”.
Glenn Seibert will 1) have the “No Dogs” signs erected, 2) follow up with Andy Levine re: broken bench at Chandler (middle), 3) determine what is needed to fix the backstop screen at Helen Randle, 4) create a white paper for the fields, 5) look into Chandler scoreboards including the possibility of a new scoreboard for the back field.
Tom Rogers will discuss new scoreboard with Bill Wert, purchase (6) one foot chains, two locks and keys for Chandler.
Randy Coppola will contact County Line Fence to discuss their Pickering proposal.
V. Rabberman Scholarship Info
Rules: $500 max per individual; $2,000 max overall
Four applicants: Tyler Bello, Dan Cafiero, Ryan Donaghy, Conner Kylie
Board must select by 5/9/08.
VI. Chandler Field & Shack
Mark Hughes will start the new deck and dugout repair projects this week.
Tom Rogers will call Leck re: removal of old lock boxes.
George Whitney expects two new lock boxes at Chandler by 4/9/08.
VII. American Legion Baseball
The Board voted unanimously to adopt the American Legion Program as a component of CRNAA; status of Junior Legion Program tbd.

Dave Buten needs sponsors info from Joel Grosso. Dave is working on the pitch count software and the on-line umpire project is on hold.
