BOARD MEETING –

 

I.                   Woll Tract Update- Andy Levine

 

Andy updated us on the 50 acre Woll Tract in Newtown Township.  The project includes lighted fields for softball, Little League and Babe Ruth as well as soccer, football and lacrosse.   Our Board plans to continue discussions, determine a position for CRNAA and promote ourselves accordingly with community support at the appropriate Township meeting.  “Lights out” time is an issue with this project.   

 

II.                Majors Re-Draft

 

The Board voted unanimously to re-draft the Majors Division in 2008.

 

III.             Umpires

 

The Board voted unanimously to utilize kid umpires in the American Division.  Fees for AL will be $20 and NL fees will be $15/bases and $20/plate.  Steve Danastorg will organize for AL.

 

IV.              League Staff

 

Joel Grosso will be Sponsor Coordinator;  NL commissioner needed.

  

V.                 Pickering Field

 

Phil Tully will coordinate a maintenance plan for the Shack.  Bob Jones is familiar with the maintenance issues for the Shack and the field. 

 

      VI.      Miscellaneous

 

                  *Coaches Clinic with Kusters 2/2/08- time & location tbd

                  *Ed Rowen reports balance of $7,690.

                

VII.           Next Meetings-  January 5- 8:30 am prior to 9:00 am registration at NMS (discussions to include league calendar for 2008); January 12 registration at NMS 9 am – 12 pm; January 14 and January 28  (both 8 pm at Clubhouse Bar & Grill)
