BOARD MEETING –

I. Registration Update

Over 500 players have registered for the 2008 season.

II. Drafts

We are finalizing dates, locations and times. Refer to website www.crnll.com

III. League Staff Meeting

We are considering a meeting on March 29, noon – 1pm at Newtown Middle School. We need a volunteer to manage the Pickering Shack.

IV. Park & Rec Update

Phil Tully is scheduled to meet with Bill Wert next week.

V. Uniform Update

Mark Bartlett ordered the uniforms.

VI. Pickering Shack

Plan is to evaluate maintenance needs on Field Day (March 15).

VII. Chandler Shack

At the Board’s request, Mark Hughes submitted a work/cost proposal for new decking. The job includes permits, footings, concrete, pressure treated and cedar wood. The Board approved up to $2,250 for the job. Target completion date is March 15. Mark will initiate the permit process immediately.

VIII. Treasurer’s Report

Balance is about $66,000.

IX. Back Ground Checks for Coaches

Bill Reading will start this process.
